EXHIBITION

And so it all lead to this..... Such a good show, well done to the whole class for making it so amazing :) - ALSO, look at this super review in Amelia's magazine: http://www.ameliasmagazine.com/art/graduate-show-2010-westminster-illustration/2010/06/18/ Great stuff!

NY Rooftops

3 weeks previously I thought I would finish this easily... This is actually about a third of what I initially intended.
Sort of makes it look more like rooftops though don't you think? You get the idea... Nice little project for summer anyway, first in a series I aim to do including other major cities - excited about doing Tokyo actually :)

If you click on it you can see the detail much better.

PESTS

Photos to come soon of book I made...

A few common pests found in New York, with the most common of all being the human (Keeley in this case :)

Ballerina...

Did this in first year, but I still like it so I thought I'd put it up. Still love traditional pencil drawing. Always have, always will...

Urban Extinction

Playing with watercolour - Not too sure how successful this really turned out...

Dazed & Confused

Okay so we found this kinda cool competition online for Dazed & Confused magazine, where you had to re-illustrate an existing cover from a choice of 10 from the past decade.

I didn't really finish it in time as I started pretty near the deadline so was slightly rushed, but I like the general feel of it, the feathers were pretty fun to draw too..

Die Zwolf Bruder

A picture illustrates 1000 words...

Dark Materials symbolism

So here are some photos of the book I made using the images below. As you can sort of see, the book folds out into a circular shape recreating the feel of the Alethiometer from Philip Pullman's dark materials novels. Very fun!
